WHAT IS THE MARKET?
* The New “Market At the cove” is a fresh seafood, hand cut steaks and roasts (Whole prime rib) and frozen seafood items plus our homemade specialties that we serve at Smugglers Cove for you to take home and finish in your Home or kitchen.
*The Market at the Cove is open the same hours as Smugglers cove is with the only difference being that our fresh fish display is closed on Sundays and Mondays. We close this display so that we can keep our amount of Fresh fish at a minimum and run out on Sundays and get NEW fresh fish delivered to start a new week.
* The Only day we will not be getting a fresh seafood delivery is Sundays. The reason being because Friday and Saturday nights the wholesale fresh fish markets are closed and almost any fresh fish we would procure on say a Saturday night would be left over fish from the previous week. That has always been the case for years and years. You can get fish, but it will not be New fish delivered into the markets that week
* If you would like a Special fresh fish ( say like Golden tile or fresh gulf snapper) or a sizable shellfish order( over 50 clams or 50 oysters on Saturday or Sunday please just let us Know Friday before 2pm and we can get that fresh fish or large shellfish ordered delivered to us Saturday morning’s usually before 12pm!
*The Market at The cove is able to procure and sell to our customers a large array of only the freshest fish and shellfish or specialty item in any quantity within 24 hours Monday through Saturday. We just need roughly 24 hours and we will get it here and get it here fresh and be fair with the price!
*The market is always open for our homemade specialties and frozen items when smugglers Cove is open. We will try to always have our homemade specialties and frozen items available at all times, we will also try to always have fresh clams and oysters available in certain quantities.
^Remember though, this is fresh fish and shellfish, we would always prefer you let us know when you need a certain item and or a large quantity of a certain item, we do not want to buy fish to have it sit here on ice for more than 2-3 days, and neither do you!
*Our steaks are hand cut, and aged 21-28 days. They’re all graded USDA PRIME or USDA Upper 1/3 choice Certified Angus beef. These too we will only keep a certain amount on hand for the restaurant and you. If they are aged too log they will get a certain almost woody flavor some people do not like and it they are not aged at all, Like most super market meet is not aged at all, they will not give you that nice juicy, melt in your mouth, full bodied beef flavor we all love.
*This is truly a science and we ask you to understand we are trying to provide quality FIRST.
